Q 1. What’s the difference between a skip bin and skip bag?
  The only difference is with a skip bag there is no time limit for collection and removal of.
   
Q 2. How soon can I have a Skip Bin or Skip Bag Delivered?
  Depending on availability and your location, we can have the skip bin or skip bag delivered to you within 1- 3 business days.
   
Q 3. How long can I keep the Skip Bin for?
  Our normal hire period is 1 – 5 days. After that it is an additional $20 per day.
   
Q 4. How long can I keep the Skip Bag for?
  There is no time limit. When you have filled the bag = order online or phone the office for collection. [fee applies]
   
Q 5. What if I want to purchase more then 1 skip bag?
  Just contact our office 1300 660 940.

Q 6. How do I know what size bin or skip bag to order?
 

A standard 6’ x 4’ box trailer = approximately 1 cubic meter.

eg:- 1 trailer loads = order a 1 cubic meter skip bag
2 trailer loads = order either a 2 cubic meter skip bin or skip bag
3 trailer loads = order a 3 cubic meter skip bin.
4 trailer loads = order a 4 cubic meter skip bin.
6 trailer loads = order a 6 cubic meter skip bin.
   
Q 7. How much access is needed to deliver a Skip Bin?
  Minimum requirements for access to place Skip Bin is a height clearance of 6m and width of 3m.
   
Q 8. How much access is needed for placement and safe collection of Skip Bag?
  For safe access and removal of skip bag = No lower than 1m downwards from access point. With a minimum of 4m width plus a minimum of 8m overhead clearance for crane-lift.

Q 9. Where shouldn’t I load the Skip Bag?
  DO NOT load bag in garages, carports, concrete pedestrian footpath, etc where we have no access to safely remove skip bag.
   
Q 10. How full can I fill the Skip Bin or Skip Bag?
  Top of Bin or Bag. Any overfill may be left behind or charged at our cubic meter rate. [We face prosecution for unsafe or overweight loads]

Q 11. What if the bin or bag is over the allocated weight allowance?
  Additional fees are payable at $100. per tonne for exceeding the allowance.
   
Q 12. What if you are unable to get the Skip bin out on the collection day?
  We charge an additional Call out fee of $100 due to reasons that you control (eg- locked gates, Skip bin inaccessible, overloaded etc .)
   
Q 13. What if you are unable to get the skip bag out on the collection day?
  We charge an additional Call out fee of $50. If there is insufficient access, overloaded ,incorrect placement of skip bag, etc.
   
Q 14. What Skip Bin Type do I need?
  This all depends on the type of waste you are going to put in the skip. Please go to our “Waste Type” page for more information.
   
Q 15. What Can’t I put in the Skip Bin or Skip Bag?
  Anything that is classed as a dangerous or hazardous. NO Asbestos , Liquid waste [ie- Paint, Petrol, Oil, Chemicals] Tyres , Batteries , Gas Bottles , Hazardous waste, Tree Stumps, Food waste.

Q 16. What do I do if I have hazardous goods?
  To dispose of any dangerous or hazardous goods, you need to contact your local council.
   
Q 17. What if I am not finished with the Skip bin by collection day?
  Phone us at least 24hrs before collection date, and depending on availability [if the bin not already pre-booked]
then you should be able to keep the bin at an additional charge of $20 per day.
   
Q 18. What happens if I wish to cancel my order?
  For a Cancelled order we require at least 48 hrs notice. Once Skip bin has been delivered there will be No refund.
   
Q 19. Can I get a Skip Bin delivered on Sundays?
  NO. If you need a skip bin on a Sunday then the driver will deliver on a Saturday.
   
Q 20. How do I know if you service my area?
  Go to our Home page, enter your postcode.
   
Q 21. Can I move the Skip Bin?
  NO. If the driver is unable to place the bin at your requested area, then he will place the bin at his discretion for safety and legal reasons as per our Terms and Conditions.
   
Q 22. Once I start loading my Skip Bag can I move it?
  NO = moving or dragging of the bag may cause damage to the bag which then would prevent collection.
   
Q 23. Who is responsible for the Skip Bin?
  You The Hirer! By accepting delivery of the skip bin you acknowledge and agree to our Terms and Conditions.
